Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama, and the medical thriller The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper, her first TV role in CBS soap show Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the author of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large-screen. The actress will work together with Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently in production.
