But that's far from the full story. So, Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't shy away from her disabilities, yet the focus isn't on the issue either. The message? That we all contain multitudes of identities and that we are greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart has stated on video that she does not want to be defined by her handicap. She doesn't want to be a disability advocate who only speaks about it. There are a lot of aspects to Lockhart. However, it doesn't affect my everyday routine. I still do all the things I normally would and I've adapted to my disabilities. In addition, I see it to be a vital part of myself.
