Alona Tal

Tal began her acting career following the departure of her position in the Israel Defense Forces. She played an evil witch in an educational musical tape for kids. Later, she was featured in a commercial for laundry detergent. In the following, she was given the leading role as a lead character in Lihiyot Kochav, an Israeli film. The film offered her two opportunities for roles in Israeli television shows in the course of shooting the film. The first show was one of the soaps called Tzimerim, about the life of a family that runs an establishment; the other show is HaPijamot (The Pyjamas), an improv comedy about one of the bands struggling to be successful in the real world. This sitcom ran seven seasons. She was a part of three but later joined as a guest-star as well. It also gave Tal the opportunity to display her singing talents. Although Tal was only one of the main characters for the initial three seasons there were several shows filmed during the fourth year. Tal later recorded a number of songs with Israeli singer Subliminal.
